I am an artist, bookmaker, and teacher based in Tucson, Arizona. I earned an MFA in Craft at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, and a BFA in Studio Art and a BA in English at the University of Arizona.
In my craft-based creative practice, I am equally interested in the content of books and their physical form. Ultimately, my process is one of creating meaning through making.
In addition to making books and sculpture, I collaborate, print, and teach workshops in letterpress and bookmaking as part of Tanline Printing. Along with Jeik Ficker, Ellen Wagner, and Axel Roessler, I co-run Tiny Town Gallery & Surplus, a gallery and retail space.
